Upgrading Litetouch

LiteTouch, founded in 1978 was a leader in controlling customized lighting in both residential and commercial projects. Their system involved automation and were scalable depending on the size of the project while also interfacing with conventional lighting of the day. LiteTouch was sold to Savant and three years later Savant abandoned the entire program leaving thousands of commercial and residential clients without the support needed. Vantage, Lutron, and Crestron filled the gap and continue to thrive. So where do homeowners go when their lighting system has been discontinued? The good news is there are many options for the LiteTouch clientele including both wired and wireless. Our team at Acoustic Designs Group approached Vantage and expressed how their product was the ultimate replaced for a hardwired LiteTouch system. Vantage, to their credit, created a keypad very similar to LiteTouch found in most homes. Many homeowners have chosen to use the Vantage keypad as it most resembles the current style of LiteTouch. There are many new and contemporary styles to choose from in the Vantage line. For wireless options, both Lutron and Crestron offer solutions which are sure to upgrade your lighting system as well.

With a hard wired or wireless solution, be sure to contact the Lighting Design Team at Acoustic Designs Group to discuss the best solution for your needs. All three systems are on display at our new 7500 square-foot showroom in Scottsdale.
